Born in Indianapolis (as Peter Joseph Christie), PJ studied Telecommunications and Psychology at IU Bloomington. While employed for The City of Chicago, Young and Laramore, Xavier University and other companies, PJ has produced websites and Internet campaigns professionally for the purposes of tourism, advertising, marketing, new media, and education.
He recognized that the Internet provided tremendous opportunities for artists to publish their creative works outside of the mainstream corporate system, and in 1998 established both Admiral Sound and Admiral Productions with the goal of assisting others to bring their unique vision to the Interwebs.
PJ and his wife Andrea have a son Abe and live in Broad Ripple with their one-eyed dog and a couple of cats . His interests include family, music, cooking, biking and being funky.
As Project Manager, PJ makes sure your web design effectively communicates with your target audience and ensures the web development is done to spec, on time and on budget.
PJ's Top 5 strengths in StrengthsFinder 2.0
- Individualization :: PJ's Individualization strength leads him to be intrigued by the unique qualities of each person. He instinctively observes each person's style, each person's motivation, how each thinks, and how each builds relationships. PJ hears the one-of-a-kind stories in each person's life. This Individualization strength also helps him build productive teams. While some search around for the perfect team "structure" or "process," PJ knows instinctively that the secret to great teams is casting by individual strengths so that everyone can do a lot of what they do well.
- Strategic :: PJ's Strategic strength enables him to sort through the clutter and find the best route. This strength allows him to see patterns where others simply see complexity. Mindful of these patterns, PJ plays out alternative scenarios. This helps him see around the next corner and accurately evaluate the potential obstacles. Guided by where he sees each path leading, PJ starts to make selections. He culls and make selections until he arrives at the chosen path—his strategy. Armed with his strategy, he strikes forward.
- Futuristic :: "Wouldn't it be great if . . ." PJ is the kind of person who loves to peer over the horizon. The future fascinates him. As if it were projected on the wall, PJ sees in detail what the future might hold, and this detailed picture keeps pulling him forward, into tomorrow. He is a dreamer who sees visions of what could be and who cherishes those visions. PJ's visions of the future energize him and others too. In fact, very often people look to PJ to describe his visions of the future. They want a picture that can raise their sights and thereby their spirits.
- Achiever :: PJ's Achiever strength helps explain his drive. It's an internal fire burning inside him that pushes him to do more, to achieve more. After each accomplishment is reached, the fire dwindles for a moment, but very soon it rekindles itself, forcing him toward the next accomplishment. This fire brings PJ the energy he needs to work long hours without burning out. It is the jolt he can always count on to get started on new tasks, new challenges. It is the power supply that causes him to set the pace and define the levels of productivity for the entire work group. It is the strength that keeps PJ moving.
- Arranger :: PJ is a conductor. When faced with a complex situation involving many factors, he enjoys managing all of the variables, aligning and realigning them until he is sure he has arranged them in the most productive configuration possible. From the mundane to the complex, he is always looking for the perfect configuration. PJ is a shining example of effective flexibility and, of course, he is at his best in dynamic situations. He is not hesitant to jump into confusing situations, to devise new options, to hunt for new paths of least resistance, and to figure out new partnerships—because, after all, there might just be a better way.
